Overview of responsibilities :

In keeping with the mission statement of the hospital and the patient service unit, the nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care for individual patients/families.

Qualifications :

Qualifications Current Certification of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (Essential) Current CPR Certification (Essential) Vulnerable Sector Check (Essential) Minimum 2 years pediatric experience or other appropriate combinations of education and experience, along with the demonstrated knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position, may be considered in lieu of stated education and experience (Preferred)

Knowledge requirements :

University Degree or College Diploma in Social Services ? Minimum of two years’ experience in the clinical counselling setting ? First Aid and CPR Certification ? Developed interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively work with the general public management and employees.
